Default Torque management disable.

Any way to turn torque management off without a tune? I just want to wake my car up a bit.

not that i know of. mine is turned off permanently through the xcal2. you will need a flash tuner and a dealer that can program it for you. it does make a difference having it turned off in the tune.

Mine is my daily driver, so I'm not looking for that extra 20 hp. Not that I wouldn't like it, just don't feel like paying $400 for it. I won't be taking it to the dragstrip. Just to work and the occasional weekend rip through the backroads...

Okay, I give up!

What is this torque management thing that you can turn on/off.

I've got the 2005 Mustang GT and the Predator tuner.

The Predator doesn't have it as far as I can tell. I wish I had the money right now and I would dump my predator and get an x/cal and a good dyno tune.
