The GT350 hit the dyno with Motor Trend and the results are not disappointing:

The Flat Crank engine sounds like the way to go if you want the characteristics of a Mustang to race on a track. It would be a kick at those high RPM's going around Laguna Seca. It sounds like Coyote 5.0L Engine will be easier to live with for a daily driver. I'd be curious to see a comparison in the acceleration at different speeds of the Flat Crank Engine 5.2L & a Supercharged 5.0L Coyote. The obvious answer is to just buy one of each.... when you win the lottery!

I wonder what a Flat Plane would sound like with a supercharger! Talk about screams.... if it stayed together! Exhaust sounds only affect other people when you at WOT with a supercharger... or at least it all becomes one scream. I used to love the transmission whine of a 57 Chevy in the Middle Ages! Now it is the supercharger whine I love. When I was a kid one HP per cubic inch was a big deal.... LOL!

I'm really excited about the GT350 and even have my wife warming up to the idea of getting one (I'll be keeping the GT too). However, based on reading the article it sounds like I have plenty of time to save up in order to give Ford time to work out the kinks. A 250RPM variance in fuel cutoff is huge. It also seems like they have something weird going on if the torque is that low in the lower rev range and then magically makes a 27% jump before half way. I'm betting somebody loaded a screwed up fuel map in that car.
