Sway bar swap?
#6
Soo..... you want to remove the bar from your car and sell it without one to the new owner? Or... did you buy an aftermarket one you want to remove for the '13 and going to re-install the OEM one to sell the '08?
If so, you may/may not need a front sway bar on your new car. It should be pretty well balanced and even have bit of understeer. In such a case, a heavier front bar would make such a condition worse, so drive it for a while first and see how she does in da corners

Well, not exactly. The 2008 base v6 did not have a rear bar from the factory so I was just going to remove the Eibach bars I bought and put the original front bar back on. This would put it back to factory specs. Which the dealer has told me (trade-in) he would rather have the stock setup anyway.
If the new one doesn't need it then I would sell the bars I have here.

If you are buying a '13 GT, it will already have both bars. If not, I would think they should fit, but don't have enough knowledge to say for sure. I am going to forward this thread over to the S197 Handling Performance section and them pepes will know.
