Default possibly getting a 04 Mach 1 Auto

Whats up guys? Im Lance, from the 5.0 forums. Anyways after stopping at the local ford dealership tonight, and checking out, and falling in love with this 04 mach1, im considering going back tomarrow and trying to get it on a trade in with my car. I just had a few questions. What do stock auto mach 1s run with good tires in the 1/4? and are there any bad things i should know about these cars? Ive wanted a 4.6 car for the longest time now and would really like to pick this car up, but want to learn a bit before hand. any help or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Auto's stock will run mid to high 13s I believe...
They are very nice cars and can handle up to 450 - 500 hp with a blower running moderatre boost. If you plan on more power, you might as well get a Termi unless you want to forge the internals (i.e. rods/pistons/crank on an auto, etc.)
I think they look incredible and they perform very well...a big plus is they respond very well to mods because they have 4V engine. How much they asking for it?

Auto's are okay and will run a 13.5, but 13.6-13.8 is about avg for a stock one. I would get a manual (13.1-13.4 sec 1/4 stock) for the fun factor and its 6800 rpm red line, but the auto is just as good with the proper mods. I say go for it as you will have a fun, great looking and reliable car to play with.

i would go stick, but if all you can find is auto, go auto.

If you want to know anymore about an automach1, PM Antiv6, i think he used to have an auto mach1
