Ok I just posted this same ? on the vette fourms so I get info from both sides. Im looking at either a Mach or a 02-03 Vette. I have rode/driven a c5 Vette many times and they are pretty quick and I enjoyed. However the interior is sub par at best for what it is. Then comes in the mach 1, tad bit slower but looks and sounds amazing. Interior again is rather cheap but still not bad, but in the end its still just a mustang compared to a vette. Now If I could afford the new model vette C6 (which I cant) I would choose it over the Mach in a scond because it dominates the previous generation Vette in every single category. However, giving the two choice I have laid out, which would you guys rather have?

Mach, due to it being so unique and differnt, I haven't had a problem ever with any vettesespecially the older ones, haven't ran across a newer style yet but I sure it won't be good. If your going to get a vette the new body style is the only way to go, plus don't forget your mullet [&:]J/K. Just get a Mach if you can find one, you won't regret it.

first of all I would NOT say a mach is slower than any base C5 vette...i've ran many of them at the track and one on the streetand have never lost to one (minus a H/C/I one [:-]) ..but the point is a mach can hold its own very well. what it really comes down to is personal preference...to me the vintage styling, modular 4V, and comfort of the mach 1s are the selling point (back seat lol)....I wouldn't trade this mach for any C5 + cash

i would get a vette, i like mach 1s a lot and owned one but i would have taken a c5 vette instead, they are both awesome cars

I would'nt take a C5 over a Mach. A ZO6 on the other hand, I would have to give up the Mach.

i raced a 03 vette last night dont know what he had done if he had any done. it was on the freeway at 12 at night. he was a vert. my mach has php intake spacer, off road x pipe, flowmaster weld ins, jlt rai, and sct hand held tuner with mail order tune. my mach from 2nd gear pull giving him the jump would pull about 6 cars on him by the middle of 3rd. over in all i love the mach that i got.

i would definitly pick the vette, of course a non modded vette is gonna loose to a modded mach 1. and i think if any one on this forum had a vette they wouldnt dare leave it stock. although i mite be a little biased as i drove a c5 vette with a 383 stroked ls1 and a procharger. needless to say i fell in love, its tag read VPRKLLR. its all in opinion though.

i would pix tha mach just because thay r justasfast as a vette thay got back seats so
if u wanna have more than 1 person ride with u, u can and thay look bad *** but u can make vettes really ****in fast but i gess just depends on if u r a mustang person or nott.
