cleaning motor

Default cleaning motor

so i got the 04 mach 1 and the valve covers look a little dirty to my liking. so im gunna do like i did with my gt. im gunna spray the heads down with acid than scrub em and squirt off with hose and blow dry with air compressor. should i be worryed about anything?

just make sure your coil covers are on tight and no water (esp. acid) gets into your COPs.I personally would have them removed and then powder coated to the color / finish of your liking....now that looks sweet!

thats the only thing i didnt like about 04 mach 1s the 03's were painted black but the 04s all look really dirty b/c they arent powdercoated, i would just get them powdercoated if i were you
