I personally like the sound of the h pipes better than the x pipes, but that's just all one person's opinion. It just varies as to who likes what.

Man it's all in what you like

The new age muscle sound -- Borla Stingers, Magnapacks, SLP Loudmouth 2s
The old school muscle sound -- Flowmasters, MAC, MRT, SLP Loudmouth 1s

I started out old school.. went new age.. now I want to go back to the older days!
All of those new aged ones are straight through design mufflers (modular) leaving you with loud/toneless
The older sounding mufflers are chambered anddepending on midpipe setup (catted or not), it will be loud/deep/toneful!

I called a local muffler shop and he told me that in Idaho its illegal to modify the stock exhaust.
Also asked him about the LT's and he told me that since LT's won't hook up to cats that they're illegal...so what about the catted midpipes? Aren't those considered cats? And the catback exhaust...sheesh now I'm really getting confused.

**** a local muffler shop. I'll never trust one again.. take it a reputable performance shop and get it done or a shop where the owner still has his teeth at least LOL.
