well i found a posting on craigslist. the guy had a shoping list full of parts. one of them were mac longtube headers for 200. i called the guy they were on a 03 cobra that was totaled. they were used for 2000 miles and look brand new. i broke down and picked em up. i think it was a good buy. now all i need is my clutch and mid pipe and those can get put in as soon as i get the clutch.

 

thats what i was going to ask. does anyone know of any companys that jet hot headers?

What kinda midpipe you gonna run? Still going to keep your Flows? The Flows would sound SO SICK with the longtubes and a Prochamber!

 

well heres the thing. my neighbor gave me a set of mufflers they look like borla xr-1s. i slaped them on and the car sounds amazing with an off road x. the flows sounded like a tin can with an x. so i dont know what i wanna do.

 

Im iffy of whether I want to go catted or not.
A buddy of mine has Kooks longtubes, Kooks o/r x-pipe, and an MRT Max Thunder catback and my god does that thing sound raw as hell.
Maybe I'll go with a catted x-pipe and keep my car sounding decent with the Magnapacks and then switch over to MRT. I dunno !!

Yeah the cheapest I can find a STAINLESS Prochamber from is $375 shipped [:'(]
I might end up going with a stainless o/rVRS x-pipe for $220 + $30 shipping so $250 for stainless doesn't seem so bad [8D]
