i've seen them pushing 460-480 on the mach 1 registry, so its all in the tune at that point. if you have any detonation and you romp it hardcore ill give you ~100 miles and its done.

You got to make sure your tune is just about perfect or it will not last long at all at those power levels.

I would have to agree on that one. I'm still feeling things out with my 04 M5, but I just upgraded to a Tremec TKO 600 tranny because I completely a**ph*ucked the stock five speed. Guys at DTP said they were pulling pieces of the shift fork out of it. lol But I agree with Blk04L, I'm pushing 449 RWHP right now on a forged crank and the cast rods which I guess you could say isn't really putting it in any danger and I'm still reluctant to romp on it.

dont romp to much and you'll be ok, but just to be safe i'd detune it.
