Any one notice a drop in gas mileage?

Just make sure that your JLT fits properly. I have read on a couple of forums including the Mach1 Registry that there have been fitment issues with the JLT.

 

Indeed.... my JLT RAI didn't fit very well at all. Rubs on the engine and basically have to jam the filter behind the headlight to fit. Also, make sure that if your heat shield doesn't fit, contact Jay over at JLTtruecoldair.com about it and he will give you a new one for free. That's what I had to do because the inlet tube from the shaker to the heat shield kept popping out. I'm considering going with a C&L but I'm not sure I like the idea of having an aluminum intake.

I almost think that the 4" tubing that the JLT uses is just a smidge too big... if it were maybe 3.5" then I bet it would fit like a glove but I guess the 4" tubing is what gives it the edge over other intakes.

 

are u guys using the filter that comes with the kit??
has any one tried the dry flow filter? Any one have any problems with the MAF?

 

I live like 15 minutes from the actual JLT performance shop and I just picked up a DSG paintedJLT RAI last Friday and put it on that saturday in about 30 minutes and had no problems getting it in or any problems with the maf or really any problems at all. it wasa tight squeeze but it fits nice and looks great and lets her breath a little better.
