I like the idea of keeping the shaker functional.

Exhaust won't really be based on the intake. Just listen to exhaust clips on youtube or streetfire and pick one that you like.

For intake, I would recommend the JLT Ram Air. I think that it runs about $170 on AM.

Exhaust is pretty much based on what you like. For catbacks, there are straight through mufflers and chambered mufflers. For midpipes, there are x pipes and h pipes. Also you can get them with cats or without. What you choose for catback and midpipe is simply what you want for sound.

For headers, go with longtubes. Shorties do not provide any gains over the stock headers. The only thing about longtubes is the expensive cost of installation unless you have the time and experience to install them yourself.

I had SLP Loudmouth 2's on my GT. I loved them. I like the sound of the Loudmouth 1's with the stock midpipe, but not really aftermarket midpipes. SLP makes some really good quality stuff.

Americanmuscle.com usually has the best prices for a lot of things. We have a discount code too. I think it might be mustangforums or mustangboards.
