RE: stupid question?
The old flowmaster 40's aren't bad I think.. there are several guys on here that have them I believe.. I have an 04 Mach myself that I just made some mods to. That with the FIPK is a good place to start methinks.. If you go CAI next get JLT because that'll keep the shaker functional, but that's just me..
And about the gas mileage, mine got a hair over 20mpg bone-stock.. It's getting about 17 maybe a little under since I added the procharger.. and that's on the highway. lol

RE: stupid question?
Those two mods are both good to start with. The K&N FIPK and the JLT keep the shaker functional if I remember correctly. For the catback or mufflers, it is pretty much just what you like. If you like the sound of flowmasters then buy them.

RE: stupid question?
I just got 25 MPG on a trip and i was at about 3k rpms the whole time or a little above with 4.10 gears. I was following somebody doing about 100 If you wana hear a clip with my flowmasters and O/R H click --------> Exaust I made 310 HP and 330TQ without a cai or rai. I'd recomend the intake spacer over the cai for a first mod. People aren't really seeing THAT much gains with the cai or rai. Don't flame me it's just what i've been reading.
