Default just paid

just paid my car insurance for the next 6 months bc i switched companys and its only costing me 726 for full coverage. i was paying 1277.89 threw aaa. now all i gotta do is pay my computer off then let the moding begin again.

have in trunk waiting install:

moser 31 spline axles
31 spline cobra diff
motive 4.10 gears
master install kit
rear end girdle

parts to order:
strange 10 way shocks
strange 10 way struts
hpm upper control arms
hpm lower control arms

i think this time im gunna try those weird looking bushings the metal ones. are there any advantage to those as to the poly ones? i heard you will keep the tq boxes together longer with the spherical bushings then the poly.

and when do you weld the axle tubes and tq. boxes? i should be running 11.9 with this suspension launching at 6k on slicks.

with those suspension mods, i would think you could get a .1 or 2 faster on slicks.

nice cut on the INX btw, give me a little while to read on the bushings, there's not many people on this sight that fully understand the suspension adv on a car on this site, sadly i dont understand it fully either....so if you could give me until tonight to do some reading ill get back to u

why would i need good luck? i turned a 12.6 on slicks with the mods in my sig and a slipping clutch. since then i put a new clutch, building rearend, and shocks and struts. its not my fault some of us know how to drive. i got my gt into the 12s with stock gears and no tune. on slicks so i see high 11s very possable. also your looking at your 12.7. your prob at alot higher elevation and therefor your gunna run slower. and im not afraid to drop the clutch at 6k where as some people are.

Plus good deal on the insurance. That should leave you some more money for moddin.

I don't think snake was saying "Good Luck" in a sarcastic way. I think that he was just wishing your luck when you try and hit your 11's. Calm down a bit.

I may be stoopid, but I can't tell if he's got a GT or a Mach with those mods, that's a Mach in his sig.. If it's a Mach, you'd have to be a prettygood driver to pull 12.6's with just those mods even on slicks.. With a GT I'm not really buyin those times.. A professional driver MIGHT be able to get mid 12.7's probably low 12.8's out of those..Just my .02 though, which I'm SURE you'll take with a grain of salt OP.. And just as a question, even in a GT, how are you dropping at 6k without spinning all the way through 1st and 2nd Gear?

my gt i run slicks on steel wheels. here are a few slips from the gt i was 213

here was my 12.9 pass

and yes the mods on that were sportlines, slicks, 3.27 gears, no tune, jlt RAI, plenum, 75mm tb, oh i forgot to say earilier that i had udp on it too. and no tune. as for launching i would hold it at 5k last yellow i would mat it and dump the clutch so 5500 was the launch about

on the mach at the time i didnt scan any slips but it was a 12.6 with a slipping clutch, jlt rai, php intake spacer, sct hand held and slicks

here is a vid of the launch and pass

the white cobra had a vortech and some traction issues

and i thought snakebitx1 was saying good luck as in you wont get it. but out of everyone i hang with they all say i drive the best bc idont give a **** if something breaks.
