Default Another 02 Sensor Question..

So i'm installing my Pypes O/R X tomorrow afternoon since i've got the whole day off, and I had a question regarding the 02 sensors.

Are they as sensitive as I'm told they are? Do I really need to disconnect them from the harness on the car when i'm replacing the pipe? Or can I just disconnect them from the pipe and secure them safely somewhere until I get the new one in place? I did a catted X with my friend on his 04 GT and it was a total pain in the junk to get that sensor back on top of the trans.

the sensor on top of the trans is deff the hardest one to get too, but its not that bad. i would think it would be harder to do the install with the o2 sensors there, they would get in the way. if anything by time you secure the sensors some where you could have had them unpluged. It will also be eaiser to romove the sensors while the mid pipe is out of the car. it will be a pain in the junk to get them off while the mid pipe is on the car. thats just my .02
