Default brakes and shaker

i am about to change my brakes and probably get the rotors turned for right now until i can get some new ones. what is a good, but not too expensive brake pad for the mach? i found a kit that moves the shaker up higher into the air stream, how much if any of a hp difference will that make?

For the shaker part, i don’t think it will make a difference. someone correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure the shaker doesn’t really improve performance, just cosmetics.

Hawk HPS brake pads are great upgrade, as for the shaker what are you explaining to us?

Is it the Shaker Air diverter or a simple shaker raise with the washers? or is it the 1 inch extension?

The best way would be to put on a intake spacer. As far as turning rotors I personally would buy new, turning them would give you a new finish to burnish the new pads but at the risk of warping the rotors. Plus the money you wasted on turning them could of went to new rotors my 2 cents.

on the brakes, im clueless i havent done in research into them.

BUT for the shaker, moving it up will just move a slightly more amount of air into your engine. you wont see any noticable gains worth buying the kit...btw you dont need a kit to do it.

an intake spacer will move the shaker up and give you about 2hp/10tq

+1 for the hawk hps. I got them on my car with brembo drilled and slotted rotors. The car stops alot better then stock. Everything only costed $445. $165 for pads $280 for rotors, that included shipping.
