Default 4.10 Gears

I can get brand new, authentic, FRPP 4.10 gears (M-4209-G410A) for $152 shipped to my door.

Should I do it?

what kind of thought are you having abuot it?
if you keep you foot out of the gas aside from racing, your not going to see much of a MPG change

Ive done my share of research over the past couple of months and it seems those with 4.10's really have no change in MPG. It just seems like one of those modifications that takes a real commitment to, unlike exhaust or something where you can just simply spend a couple of hours swapping back if you don't like what you have. I just want to make sure I will not be making a mistake! And the website that had the gear calculator isn't working but I think I remember seeing the RPM @ 70 mph is something like 2300? That's not too bad for when school starts and I'll have to drive 20 miles to school and 20 miles back everyday, sometimes twice a day.

I've been told 4.10's in a Mach feel like a whole different car

I think you will be pleased if you go with 4.10's. Get you DR's and you should put down some decent #'s at the track.

ive been debating as well. u might not like how high the car revs at times along with maybe some other things but the extra kick that u feel with the gears n the capability of breaking ur tires loose at all diff speeds will prob make up for ne inconvenience the gears might bring. when it comes down to it, its a mod that is fun as hell. go for it!
