Default 4V Intake Manifold

Just out of curiousity, does anyone make an aftermarket intake manifold for the 4V 4.6? Any kind of better alternative than the stocker on my '03 Mach?

I haven't seen any manifolds short of sheet metal race manifolds. MMR makes a sheet metal manifold that is good up to 1800 HP. It is also about $2600 so I think that would be going a bit overboard.

Hrrmmm.. this kinda goes along with the OP's question.. How much power will the stocker intake manifolds on the 4V's in the 03/04 mach's hold? I can't see ever having more than 600 to the wheels with my build, just curious as to whether or not I would need to hold off on that till I can afford a race manifold or not..

Yep, I think in the best mods sticky radaman ports and polishes stock intake manifolds for a price. I think the p&p nets 10rwhp if I remember correctly.

our manifolds are the strangest ive eer seen, they are in a big circle, and i dont understand why they wrap around the bottom?

the FR500 is a joke 2800 for our ****, with valve's that open and close to give higher RPMs....nothing a port/polish with ported heads can't do for cheaper.
