you could always get a mazdaspeed3. They look like an economy car but they have a 2.3L turbo and are pretty fun to drive

Here's ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...3756.m14.l1318. Sorry it took a while, I have a lot going on right now. I don't know what I may take for it. Highest offer was $18k and change, but I wanted $20k. Looks like I may wait till I get $19k or higher, but I might just take an $18,xxx offer if I I don't get any other offers above $19k in the next couple weeks. The market on theses car has dramatically dropped inthe past few months.

Oh it does sound nasty as hell. I hope to get it sold very soon. There's a young kid in Texas who needs to take out a loan with his mom cosigned to get it. He says he'll pay $19.5k, and I'd be happy with that because some of the offers I've had are rediculous.

Tell you dad, it wont sell and that you need to wait of better market condtions. I can understand him being upset, and the consquences of being caught at those speed are not to be taken lightly, but what did he expect a 19 years to do in a freaking Mach??? I am not justifing your actions, but he is over reacting. I got my 94 GT at 17, and my dad and impressed upon me the consquences of being stupid long before I even got my leaners permit. I respect the law, and I respect the power of the car, but i also have a little fun with it now and again. Talk him out of, act mature about. You have learned your lesson it seems, and I don't think you some self centered jack-***.

P.S- if you end up with some economy car, please keep it domestic.

I did tell him that the market was bad, he said I can take my time on selling it then and wait for a good price. I think what I am asking is a pretty good price and it doesn't matter when I sell it because insurance just recently ran out too so I can't drive it.

And I will try and get an american economy car, but if I get averygoodmpg and dollar/value car that's foreign I probably will jump on it. Thanks for your input.

^ Don't get caught up on EPA MPG estimates, most 4cyl econo cars are going to get about the same mileage.

LOL, dude, I was on ebay earlier and was thinking about buying your car! (before I saw this)

Unfortunately I don't have anywhere to park another car at the moment so I probably won't get a Mach (or Cobra if I can save enough) until next summer.

Update:

My car is still for sale, but it is technically my parents now since they let me borrow a little under $18k for my new car. Brand new loaded 08 Honda Fit 5-speed. Black exterior, grey interior. It has tons of space, is amazing on gas, and has an ipod input jack so I am plenty happy. Almost 5-star all around crash tests too. That's really what I was looking for in my situation: Good mpg, manual transmission, safe, Ipod playable, pretty good factory audiosystem for rock/metal, and pretty cheap with great build quality.

Mach 1 still under 3500 miles and buy it now on ebay is 18,500. That's what my parents want for it. Just to let you know. Not sure if it's staying on ebay or being sold locally once the auction time is over.
