Im getting that ^ done in gloss black on wednesday! I cant wait because thats something I have wanted to do since I first got the mach. I would do matte or flat black but the previous owner put on a gloss black spoiler so im doing the hood to match. Ill post pics when i get it back towards the end of this week. I have been quoted 345.00 for the job- but they are sanding it down all the way, re-primering it (has the delamination problem), and then remainting the entire thing...im not sure if just a black out job would normally cost as much.

it should run about 200-300.00 for the black out and clear at a reputable body shop.

have it cleared in a satin clear. i did my wing in flat black with a satin clear over it and it stays clean unless it rains.
