Default Fuel system question?

This is going to sound like a stupid question, but do the Mach's have a returnless fuel system? Kinda stuck inbetween choice of fuel pumps, between the Aeromotive, dual GT's, and the Walboro 255lph.. Only thing is the walboro won't fit with a returnless style fuel system and I don't feel like converting it just to install the pump. Which one do you guys think would be easier?

Thats correct we have a returnless system. Walbros are a big no-no lol. If you would like a cheaper alternative go with a Focus SVT pump, or Aviator pump (slightly better that the focus), and add a BAP for peace of mind. You shouldnt need Dual GTs unless you have big #s lol. You could also go with a stock 03/04 cobra tank and pumps, or the dual pumps in your modified tank.

Thanks.. I wasn't sure, but evidence was leaning towards returnless.. lol ddoohh.. I honestly don't mind the extra 150 bucks for the aeromotive, because I won't have to bother with upgrading it again. I would look at the aviator pump and the SVT focus pump, but I'm not sure how well they would handle 575+ rwhp in an F/I application like I'll have when I'm done with the build this year though..

Well if your planning on 550+RWHP then thats understandable lol. Have you looked at these guy's stuff yet- I think its a really nice base kit towards a big # fuel system: http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...el-system.html

Yeah I've seen the dual GT set up lethal performance has. Honestly it's between that one and the Aeromotive A1000.. either one would be more than enough as I don't think I'll ever have more 600-ish to the wheels of the mach, at least not while it's a DD anyway.. lol Besides, I think being able to squeeze 575-ish out of a stage-2 P-1 headunit isn't that bad.. The stage ones usually tend to crap out at about 12-ish, and the stage 2's with the D-1 impellers usually 14-16psi. I'm looking into possibly upgrading just the headunit, because I already have in place all the requisite gear, just don't know where to get a new headunit and only the headunit.. That and running lean were my only two big concerns there.. Well, that and money.. LOL

lol funny thing you are looking to upgrade head units...

I would might be interested in doing a trade for your P1 Stage 2 depending upon miles, conidition, boost#s, etc. Is it polished? Cant really tell from your avatar but it doesnt quite look like it.

lol.. Unfortunately it's satin finish, not polished.. And the unit itself MAY have 3,500 miles on it or so. And that's been at 8-psi, which it probably hasn't seen since my dad's had it while I'm gone. All he's done is tool the car around the block a couple times a week to keep everything running and to keep the fluids from settling. I MAY be coming home a little earlier than expected, (I had been planning on leaving the sandbox in Dec, but it may be earlier than that..), and if that happens I will have to check my cash flow to make sure I have the money to do the rest of the stuff I have planned.

I know you're probably not too keen on waiting that long and if so that's cool. And if you even want a satin coat head unit. lol Just so's you know brudda..
