Default Gears?

How big of a difference will i feel if i decide to get 3:90 gears for my 2003 Mach 1, since it already has the 3:55's?

A little...but not nearly as much as if you went with a nice set of 4.10s or 4.30s!

4.10+ in these cars. Even in a GT I wouldn't bother with something under 4.10.

+1, unless your going forced induction 4.10's will be your best bet, and if your going FI just keep the 3.55's

To be honest, I personally like the 3.55 that come stock in these cars. I will probably go for a 4.10 eventually but the stock gearing is pretty good for the 1/4 in stock form. You finish about the top of 3rd.

Well i'm thinking about throwing some nitrous on it around the time my warranty runs out on it, and that prolly won't be to long since i have had to take it in twice togetthe syncro's in it replaced and well the third time is the charm. So if I put nitrous on it just stick with the stock gearing?
