What is your guys opinion on cutting the springs to lower your car?

i wouldnt man just buy the right springs for the height you want

you can cut them all you want thats what i did and saved about 200 bucks. it doesnt hurt them at all they are a liniar rate spring. that means that cutting them doesnt change the stiffness or quality of the ride just changes the size of the spring. i recomend cutting about 3/4 of a coil unless you want to get some CC plates then a full coil and will look like sex. the problem with cutting springs is when ppl cut the progressive rate springs thats when you see cars that bounce up and down when driving. the stock mach springs are fine to cut do it and save yourself the 200 and buy a diffrent mod so you get 2 mods instead of 1

be sure to use a cutoff wheel and not let it get hot. heat will change the spring rate.

No worries man! I have H & R springs but I have cut springs in the past and had no problems.. She'll look tight afterwards!
