Default I'm back in the brotherhood.

I decided I couldn't take it anymore, so I sold the Mazdaspeed3 and started looking for another Mach 1. I finally found a 2004 Black Mach for just under $16k with 25k miles on it. It is an automatic, and although the 5pd is quite a bit quicker, I know from experience the autos tend to be quicker once you get them properly modded with stalls, gears, etc. Also, I getting lazier these days, lol. Anyway, its being transfered up here from Georgia and should be here later on this week. Its a carmax car, so here is the extremely long link...

Thanks everyone.

Furinox, I didn't realize you had your engine built and had FI. A clutch replacement isn't the worst thing in the world, at least its a fairly easy fix and you can put something back in that'll really hold the power.

Do any of you guys know how well the autos hold up to stalls, DRs, that kind of thing? I assume FI would wipe an automatic tranny out pretty quick.

i think you will be just fine as far as the tranny goes but you will have to remember the autos dont have the forged crank so if you go FI you might have replace the crank as well as the rods and pistons
