Default rear brake job, no decompress

front brakes went without a hitch, but I couldn't get the rear brakes to decompress to allow space for the new pads. Y'all have any advice to help keep me from having to pay a shop to do this easy job?

No, the E brake wasn't on. ;o)

lol, yea like they said twist them, I actually broke my brake compressor tool the first time I change my brakes.

But if your like me you'll "break it first, then read how to fix it" My whole car has been built off of that philosophy.
