First mods complete!
Well I spent the weekend washing/waxing the mach for the first time and installing the first round of mods! Nothing too crazy just a steeda short throw and frpp shift ****, shorty antenna and black bumper inserts. Pretty much just trying to get the exterior the way I want it before start going the bolt-on route. I love the frpp shift **** so much, I can't believe I never got one for my old car. That and the shifter are easily the best inexpensive thing you can do to these cars. Also got around to hardwiring my radar detector and satellite radio so things are coming along nicely. Plus I found out that my car has weld-in flowmasters so that was a bonus. I knew the exhaust couldn't be stock from how loud it was, but didn't actually get under the car to check it out until the other day. So all in all things are coming along nicely, so I just thought i'd make a post about it. What do you guys think I should do next?

Good job bro it's looking good.
I have a question about the short throw. Is it fairly easy to change by yourself? I want to do that next but just haven't had the time and I don't want to take it to someone.

4 sockets, a screwdriver, and about 45 minutes at 11 pm with crappy lighting in my garage was all I needed, you'll be fine . I've done two of them and the only problem i've ever encountered was the bolts on the stock shifter being a little tough to break lose, but even that only took about 5 minutes to tackle.

Yeah it's definately a great thing to do as far as driveability goes. Oh and I'd recommend etting it from american muscle because you can get it in a package with the frpp shift **** and you basically get the **** they sell for $40 for $10!

Good job bro. An offroad H or X pipe is another cost efficient mod and I think would be a good next one for ya, and you'll love the more aggressive sound. Just got a shorty antenna myself, along with "4.6L V8" hood decals. The decals were like six bucks, they set the raised hood off really well with the lighter/brighter colors like white, yellow, and orange.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking a mid pipe and full cat back will be my next mod. The sound of the flows is ok, but I think I might want something different. I haven't decided what yet though. Oh and about the 4.6 stickers, I thought it was funny you said that because I got those $6 stickers for my old GT and I had 4 different people ask me if I had gotten a new hood, lol.
