4 mods coming. Throttle body, mass air sensor, underdrive pulleys and lower control arms. Of the mod(s) you've experienced...., who's the best, who to buy from, worth the loot? Anything helpful is asphixiated.

 

Uh, I wouldn't get UDP's if I were you. I've read about lots of problems they can make with the mach 1's.
Accufab makes good products, they have TB's. Not real sure about the other stuff tho.

I've heard that about the pulleys, but I've also heard by a few that they're fine unless with heavy mods and/or the juice. I've heard of the Accufab TBs and spacers but haven't had too much luck getting a few different prices for them. thx man.

 

I would still consider staying away from the UDP's. No sense in taking the chance it could bust something.

UDP's are said to cause problems with breaking the oil pump shaft. No oil = no engine...

 

I don't have any experience with anything you listed except for the control arms. If Sphoon makes them for our Machs, then I'd probably go with them. I had them on my
Z28 and loved them. BMR Fabrication makes some good stuff too.

The MAF deal...I can't ever remember their damn name, but its C&F or something. They have the nice looking metal intake tube+MAF combo. I've heard they're pretty decent set-ups.

 

1. Acufab is one of the best
2. You should just get a lightning or cobra MAF, Im selling one if you need it.
3. Underdrive pullies are not a problem, i have steeda, just dont get piggy back pullies.
4. I have Steeda LCA and UCA.

Control arms and UDP are what you will notice most.

 

Another good mod I'd suggest is the clutch quad/firewall adapter. I am going to be buying one here soon. Supposed to make adjusting the clutch easier, that is if you have one

 

thx a bunch for your feedback. 3 quick questions for you, if you have the time. Have a JLT rai, uses stock MAF...your MAF will bolt right up? LCA and UCA hurt your driveability at all? Accufab is $390...gains less than much cheaper UDP? Much much appreciated.

 

I've read, not personally done, that if you're gonna upgrade your TB, then you should do more mods to make it worthwhile. The new TB's are very expensive, like you're seeing, and I've heard won't do much in the way of increasing hp unless you do more mods.
