you only gained like 2 mph on your eigth mile compared to what i do, so your 3-4 is what's killing you man.

3-4 shift is past eigth mile. What's killing me is my damn spinning street tires. The 2.06 is the best 60' I could do that day, my best with 3.55s is a 1.98.

Thanks...these 4.10s don't feels too bad on the highway, almost feel like stock, I understand what people meant when they say they should've gone with 4.30s. I haven't gotten on it yet, but I can't wait.

Today in the morning, on my way home, I took the car up to 80mph to see at what RPM it would be at and it seems to be at around 2300rpm, I have 18in wheels, does this sound right?

According to this gear calculator it says I should be at around 2600rpm and thats with the wheels already measured in..

Oops! I just realized that my speedometer is most likely of due to the 4.10s.

You do realize that an 18" wheel won't change your speedo unless you get the wrong size tire...

The overall tire diameter is the same, the sidewalls are just smaller to compensate for the larger wheel.

My 3rd AND 4th synchros are gone. Still waiting on a trans job. Didn't know that would hurt performance. Figured if it's in gear the power will push it.

I agree on both points...feels like the car should've came with them in the first place and 4.30s being a typical mod. The exhaust note is sweeter too, my LM1s sound a bit nastier at cruising. 4.30s may be a tenth better at the track with sticky tires, but I think 4.10s are the better gear for daily drivers. To each his own, ofcourse.
