ok, after reviewing information here ive come to find out that there are diffrent cranks for auto and maual. so heres my real question. can i make my manual trany with origanally 8 bolt crank bolt up to this 6 bolt crank motor. is it a matter of replacing a flywheel?

you just need a different flywheel and you should be good. oh BTW sell the auto fly to recoupe some of your costs.

Put a GT flywheel in it and the 3650 should bolt right up to it. Don't know if that motor is going to be happy about your 6800 rpm redline after living it's life about 1k lower, but other than that, should work okay.

it will, but the harmonics could get mesed up and although it won't be noticeable immediately **** will get torn up down the road.

that makes the most scence. ill swap them out. i currently got the guy at the salvage yard trying to locate a manual motor instead. lets c if he comes through. if not im stuck with $2500 experirment. these motors are so complex to me, i was probly better of getting my orignal one fixed.
