Retiring melanie from service.
Well, guys time has come to retire Melanie from DD use and track service.
My wife and family supports this idea so even though it's a tough decision to do, once i get back i will be putting her up and slowly getting her back showroom floor condition. i don't know what will replace her yet, but rest assured it will be a mustang. This will allow me to complete the 1967 turbo coupe im working on and cut our insurance rates in half.
i will still be in this section and S/S exclusively as the other sections on here don't really have the cool people like we do.
so far im thinking 4 cyl fox. cheap inx, cheap maint, cheap gas =me

live axle can do anything, but it's not as good as IRS IMO. from what i've seen the geometry of IRS under a fox will provide optimal grip and performance on both the drag strip (titan's supra is cutting 1.2-3's with theirs) cobra's at my track here are cuttin 1.4's. not to mention it's a much smoother ride, and very unique to do/have.

yeah it looks like i will be able to get the entire front SN95 5 lug swap for 150 even!! the IRS will probably cost ~650-800

yes that's the IRS i will be using. i don't know how well the auto is going to work for autox, but with the gearing on the c4 i should be able to leave it in second and go...i might just have to put a manual valve body on the c4 to do what i want
