Default New To Machs have Questions Help!

I am new to the Mach 1 scene. I am looking at purchasing an 04 Mach 1. It has some light repairable collision damage. The car is Comp. Orange and is an automatic. It has 77,000 miles on it. It does run and drive. What are some thing I should look for? How many miles can you expect a mach motor to go fairly trouble free. Also it needs a front bumper cover any one know the interchange on this or know of one for sale. Any help is greatly appreciated. I f all goes well I may buy this tommorow.

If its a salvaged title, I would stay away from it. Down the road, you will have a very hard time selling it. Make sure it shifts smoothly and has been maintained.

Thanks any other specifics to look for. I plan on keeping this car for a while.

price?
is it cosmetic damage?
if it's just cosmetic it runs shifts well. any mod's on it, look for UDP's they don't like our car and tend to break the oil pump shaft causing engine failure. but if everything is maintained like it should be and takin care of there is no limit to any engine.

$5000
All Damage is cosmetic
I am not familiar with what a UDP is? Can you explain that?

UDP=underdrive pulleys. If the damage is really all cosmetic, $5k sounds like a steal to me.

if it is all cosmetic damage then i would have a very good mechanic look it over and start thinking about buying
