Default Tuning the Mach

Anyone have any suggestion on which brand tuner to go with, also how much power to be gained? My current mods include K&N airfilter, 1 3/4" LT headers, Power Flo X pipe w/oversized cats, Power Flo cat back. The before and after dyno showed a 35hp gain from the current mods.

Call up what ever tuner your going to have tune your car and ask them what they prefer SCT or Diablo. Most tuners like SCT and will give you a package deal if you get a dyno tune + the SCT.

I would prefer the SCT, but thats just me. BTW, I see that your headers are 1 3/4, do they flow better than the 1 5/8s?

Thanks for the advice. Any hp gains - if so how many? DarkMach I would tend to think they flow better being larger dia. I would highly recommend the SPL brand after the power gains I saw. The quality was worth the price! The folks at Steen racing were pumped as well when they saw 35hp from just an exhaust upgrade.

So, what did it put down after the headers/midpipe/catback.

I dont have the before Dyno sheet. The fella that did the test told me that you loose 15% through the drive train so 289 /.85 = 340 @ crank which is 35 over stock. Did he tell me a load of DUNG? What to these cars dyno at the wheels stock about 259hp which would be 305 @ crank? Have I been living a lie this whole time? Any way about my original question (how much HP can be expected from a good tune)?

^^ When you say a good tune do you mean: Dyno tune, Canned tune or mail order tune?
