Default Fender Emblems

I saw a nice Mach that had the 40th anniv. fender emblems replaced with the MACH 1 logo (like on the trunk).

If I remove my 40th anniv. logos, will there be a hole behind them in the fender (like there is behind the FORD oval on the trunk)?

If so, is it small enough to be covered up by one of the MACH 1 letters?

Thanks!

Buddy of mine w/ an '03 didn't have holes in his so I wouldn't think an '04 would. He put on the slim rectangular "Powered by Ford" emblem and it looked awesome.

if you do this, take a picture after you remove one of the emblems. I would like to see what it looks like without the emblems down the sides.
