Ha! Yeah I have been working at discount tire for about 3 years now and am getting 40+ hours now because of the winter season rush. Im going to school as well. I cant stand not being able to spend the money that I earn lol. Always have to run it by my Dad first. What do you pay for insurence on that thing? I pay 320/ month + car payment(162).
I pay 75 for insurance a month cause im on my dads policy still and i pay 375 a month for my car for 4 years
so just for my car i pay 450 month not including nething else lol

Yeah Im doing ARH and yeah he caved but cant justify me spending $2500 on exhaust. He says that I will not get 25+ Hp and will not be able to feel a difference at all. He then showed me a 2010 Camaro that HOT ROD Magazine dyno'd with Kooks LT's and a o/r midpipe that made 42 more wheel HP!?!? If that car can get 42 hp off a single cam and 16 valves why cant I get 25!!! He wants me to buy just a midpipe and cat back and call it good. He says I will get the same thing for $1500 less... When you had your ARH headers installed could you feel a difference? You do have at least 100 more hp than I do but you could feel it im sure. How much more hp did you make after the install? BTW he just bought a jeep on 37's with dana 60 axles a full roll cage and a 304 sb AMC... Thats why I can spend some money now lol.

Ask your dad to show you an article about YOUR CAR stating that headers hardly make any horsepower. The Camaro engines are, as you know, only 16V pushrods and probably don't respond the same to exhaust mods as 32V DOHC's.
If he says that you will not feel a difference at all, ask him to prove it. That "my friends said.." crap doesn't count. Unless they've owned Mach 1's and have done full exhaust mods, their opinions are worth as much as a used roll of toilet paper.

I felt a big difference after I put he longtubes on, especially up top in the rpms. I'm really shooting for 500rwhp with no n20, no port, and no twin screw. Usually in the terminator world the only way to get 500rwhp is from the 3 things I mentioned but I am going to try and change that lol. They headers have helped out alot.
