Default I need an exhaust clip!!!

Alright guys, I need some help. $'s getting tight so I'm considering selling my LTs/catted X I haven't had installed yet and buying an o/r midpipe. Went from LM1 to Powerflo so the benefit of going o/r is now easy on my ears. Plenty of clips found w/ LTs on youtube, streetfire, & other forums, but can't find any w/ stock manifolds and o/r midpipe. Would like to compare the x, h, and prochamber. Want the quieter/deeper of the three, which I hear would likely be the prochamber due to it's crossover design. Can anyone help a brother out? Any help is much appreciated.

Didn't want to clog up the sticky w/ a question. Will copy/paste clips to sticky. Thx again.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5988asl63GY factory catback bassani o/r x

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d60tF8FPqiI bassini o/r X pipe with 2.5 x 2.25 2 chamber Delta 40 series mufflers factory tail pipes and 3 disk car chemistry tail pipe inserts. I put the tail pipe inserts in to remove the dreaded drone around 2k.

If your are into drag racing I have a bunch of videos posted on utube. I used to drag race in the late 80's up till the mid 90's. These vids are pretty close to 20 years old when my 66 Chevelle was running 10.80's N/A no bottle.

Man, Shaken I'm sorry but I was talking 'bout o/r midpipe with my Powerflos! Couldn't be o/r before cuz the LM1s were just too darn loud but now it'll sound good. Thx for tryin' to help a brother out like you always do.

Man, i really don't want to but I gotsta think about the wallet. From all accounts I've read/heard, LTs are only 10 hp gain over stock manifold with o/r midpipe and straight-through catback. I'm looking at $550 for LT install. I also have to consider I'll have to drop loot on the midpipe, o2 extensions and MIL eliminators as I have the new Diablo revision so I can't turn the sensors off. I may keep the headers, just weighing my options. Get that clip up!!!!!!!

Yeah I will. Its snowing here right now so I wont have any wide-open pass clips but ill get an interior drift session lol. I paid $619.xx for my install after being quoted 450+tax. They broke the dipstick after my Dad told them to lol (he ended up going there and helping them do it lol), ARH only sent me two O2 sensor extenders... and the shop said that they probly wont do headers on any more mustangs lol. Took them 2 full days to do it! They did a good job though so I have no complaints, I knew it wouldnt go perfect lol. Well my only complaint is that since ARH has round catts they scrape on speed bumps. I wont be able to lower my car unless I go offroad...

Are you sure whoever installed you lts/midpipe did it right? The only reason I ask is because my car is pretty d@mn low and when I had the catted mid-pipe i didn't scrape on anything. I have switched to off road but all my stuff tucks very well.

I am pretty sure there is another thing you need to consider for your LT addition. A dyno tune, your drivability is more than likely going to suffer since your o2's will be farther downstream. Besides your WOT fuel can be adjusted at the same time without having to purchase a wideband o2 setup and disable the rear o2's. There is a tuner up here who disables all 4 o2 sensors his name is Lido he owns alternative automotive http://www.alternativeauto.com/ He setup wutang61's car that way after he added a Eaton setup on his Mach 1. I would think if it could be done on a forced air application it could be done N/A.

If and when I decide on to replace my exhaust manifolds I am leaning to the JBA 1625S-7JT, sure they do not make as much as long tubes but they make more than factory manifolds. The added power is throughout most of the rpm range. These are my plans because I do not plan to take this car to the track and rape it I have already been there.

Hey, that sounded good even w/ just the o/r X, and nasty as heck with the catback, too. What the heck are those inserts? Do they make it quieter inside the car? If so, where can I get 'em? Thx homey.

I did not use the steel plugs just the inserts and yes it is more pleasant cruisin around 2k but it is still loud on the fuel. http://www.carchemistry.com/shop/ind...oduct_list&c=3 they come in 2 and 3 disk I bought the 3 disk.

Man, those are some neat vids. It must feel good to go that fast! My non-techno babble arss can't do all that uploading stuff, really don't have the patience to learn. Hey, those inserts...I've never even heard of those things before and looking at them I can't even tell what the heck is supposed to be done with them. I guess noone has that clip I was looking for, lol. Seems not many people have my Powerflo muffs. Guess that's a cool thing.
