4.10s plus install should be around $450. The car wont be screaming, its only about 300rpm higher than 3.55s in highway. 4.10s in my opinion is the best gear for N/A Machs.

yea, see since you make peak power so high in the rpms..( like 6500?) you need more gear to get there faster. you'll still be able to do 150+ easily. From what ive seen on naturally asiprated mach 1's a tb only adds 3-7 hp..thats nothing compared to what the 4.10's or 4.30's will do for you.

mach1owner 12-20-2009 02:17 PM

ic but after i do all the work wont i need the new throttle body to allow for more air so the 4.10 will make me go faster in low rpm range so do u think i should change the throttle body at all? or do u think its useless cuz after i want to to a c/a intake and i think that is all the bolt ons that i want right now! what about cams ? and a stroker kit? do u think thats worth it ?

Dude, **** the throttle body.

I can't handle your moronic posts.

boduke0220 12-20-2009 02:24 PM

honestly i would get the throttle body untill your making 400+ hp..then it will benifit you more. no, the 4.10's will help all the way to redline man..it honestly feels like you added 75 hp to the car lol..and its pretty fun barking 4th too. 4v's can make some serious power with the right Head/cam/ intake combo's. I like the comp stage 2's myself ( part number 106400) thats what Chris scott has over on SVTperformance. i would go with a big bore kit.

if i were you i'd go over to svtperformance.com they have alot of good info about the 96-01 cobras which have a similiar motor to yours. i learned a ton over there

I understand you are here for advice as many of us are. You should at least form full questions.

I dont think English is his first language. It looks like he's not even in the US.
