because these engines are getting better by the year the tq is still down on the v6 due to its size if you line the mach vs 2010 v6 camaro the mach will rape the camaro

Yeah, even though the fwhp hp is the same, the Mach will still rape it.

How good is high horsepower when you add tons of weight?? Whats the modding potential on these v6 camaros? Im sure those motors are just about maxed out.

I've ran the new L99 auto SS with boltons/tune and I'm not impressed by its performance.

According to both chassis dynos and performance calculators, bone stock Machs make about 325/345, yes they were underrated. Camaro V6 deserves kudos for the peak hp, but the tq is only 273. Fastest legitimate 1/4 mi. for a stock Mach I've seen with my own eyes is a 13.06 (though one publication I read claimed a 12.99 with a professional driver), while the fastest documented pass I can find for the Camaro V6 is 14.20. GM certainly has a potent product but I wouldn't say it compares with ours...not that it's supposed to. The extra 7 years of development certainly helps also.

The Camaro V6 is a very nice engine and I even saw one car magazine that liked the V6 Camaro over the SS. They thought it was more nimble and easier to toss around.
