Got Dyno Tuned and geared today!

Thanks for banning that **** dued, 28, lol! He posted that crap in a couple of other places as well.
This was on a dynojet. I posted up a dyno sheet on the first post just now. Its kind of small, but you can still see where the gains are.
Boduke, the 4.10s feel great. Major difference. It'll take me a few passes to get back used to them in a Mach, but they are doable with street tires. I'll still be able to get a 2.0 60', but going into 2nd gear will be a challenge. The two step basically just lets you hold the gas on the floor while the clutch is in, and the car is in 1st gear. The RPM will hold at 4500 on its own, preventing you from having to stare at the tach or balance the throttle. It basically a rev limiter while in 1st with the clutch in. Pretty kool.

You ought to put down at least what I am, maybe more since your adding an intake (assuming we ran on the same dyno the same day, etc). I really wish I had an intake spacer and a CAI on today. Oh well, just means there's more left on the table.

nice numbers anybody know why the hp plaines out (look at his graph) at about 5000rpm then drops a little then goes up to peak?? are we running out of intake flow??? exhaust???
post ur times to when you get them cus i have my o/r x sitting in the box in my garage along with my sct tuner.

Stone, again great #s. Another step in the right direction.

thanks rygi23 but the hp numbers really shouldnt plane off like that the engine must be running out of somthing air, fuel or restrictive exhaust ive seen quite a few dyno graphs for lots of different engines and cant say ive ever seen the hp number flatten out like they due when theres nothing wrong
i owned a TPI car and once the limit of the intake was met the hp numbers would flatten out like that.
also if anyone knows what the flow numbers are id be very interested.

I agree with you Watman. It's been bothering me too. I took her to the track this weekend and pulled off a best of 12.97 at 107.7 on a 1.92 60'. The 1/8th mile was 8.3 at 84.x mph. I feel like the trap should've been considerably higher, like 109-110 mph. I am still running the stock intake, and wonder if that's what is killing the trap and causing the power to plain off. I had to shift at 6300 RPM to get it away from the 13.3+ and down to 13.0-12.9. The traps were sticking at 105 mph when I shifted at 6800, and climbed to 107.x when shifted at 6300. In other words, there's no doubt the power is dropping off after 6100 rpm. What do you think man? Do you think an aftermarket intake will change things?
