Default LOW DA/midpipe = crushing my best run

My, what temps in the 40s and DAs below sealevel will do. Even considering the optimum conditions, I had no idea she had this run in her.

60'...............1.692
1/8...............7.925 @ 87.40
1/4..............12.388 @ 110.48

Previous best was a 12.60 with the stock midpipe and conditions that were very good but just a tad under what they were today.

My friend hadn't got to the track yet, so I didn't get that run on video. I did get a 12.65 pass on camera, bogged off the line and temps/DAs were a bit higher. Under my other vids are a couple passes that make me cringe, lol. We all have them though. Enjoy!

Congrats!

You really move off the line. I wish I could do that.

Holy hell, man!!! I'm going to link this over to the S/S section if you don't mind. That's truly an amazing pass for the mods. Congrats Rygi! Which DRs are you running?

you can with some good tires and some practice passes. Start leaving them cones alone and go *****-to-the-walls at the drag strip!

Density Altitude. The lower the better, and it really does make a difference.

I don't mind and thx. Running ET street radials, that's all n/a cars need IMO. Not much rubber on the track at the start of the year though so I was still spinning off the line, as seen in the clip. Thx again homey.

yeah tires are the shiz, but when you get them you'll see that the driving style off the line has to change. Too much traction and not enough psi leads to bogging or snapped stock axles and spinning is still possible on a crappy unprepped track. One heck of a difference though when you get her dialed in. Best short time on streets is 1.98 and 1.69 w/ DRs, nearly 3 tenths.
