Patience with finding launching sweetspots, proper psi and shiftpoints as well as some other details really make a difference. I still ain't happy with it though, lol. Thx you sir for the compliment, it's appreciated.

my best time with intake, x pipe, cat-back, canned tune.....was a 13.162.....So I'm hoping with my 410's and DR I have a similar time to you.......When I do my 410's, I'm doing 31 sline axles, and 03/04 cobra diff, so Hopefully I can launch her really hard......what psi you run at, and what rpm you launch at?

I'd stick with the diff you have BKAT. If you do manage to break it, then replace it with a better one. The 8.8 is a pretty strong diff, especially with some bracing, etc.

Yeh, but are stock 28 spline axles are weak as ****, and are known for breaking with DR launches......So I got to get a new dif with 31 spline axles, and might as get it done while it's all apart ya know....

The stock axles are weak, but you can just replace the axles without doing the whole diff. Its very easy. I watched a guy do it in 30 mins at the shop I get work done at.

have you changed your clutch? if not the only way to break the axels is to have a full on Slick and dead hook off a 6k rpm launch. the stock clutch is designed for street use and will slip with larger amounts of tracktshun. get hardened 28spline. if you ahve a cobra Diff they already are 31 spline IIRC.

I was thinking about hardened axles vs doing 31 spline.

Sounds good, at least you won't ever have to worry about it breaking. Keep us posted on your progress!
