Question Throttle Body Comparisons

Hey guys,

I have been looking around alot at different throttle bodies to buy for the mach1. I would like to know wut the best throttle body is out there for the mach. I was looking at the BBK twin 62 and 65 mm TB and also the accufab TB from americanmuscle. Are there any recommendations you guys have or any info that would help me to pick a TB? thanks for any help I get.

What are your mods? I bought the Accufab twin 60mm TB because my factory one was corroding for some reason but just so you know I felt no power gains however the pedal feels a little better, more precise I guess. Also, I have a whistle coming from my intake now because the diameters are different or something. I just installed a JLT CAI to try and fix the problem and it didn't do much. It whistles while the car warms up and eventually goes away but will annoy the hell outta you. I took this video because I was wondering why my car has blue smoke on start-up but you can hear the whistle im talking about. The cars mods at the time of the video are: ARH LT Headers + catted x pipe, Accufab twin 60mm TB, SCT tune, 40 series flows, drop in K&N filter. Hope this helps!

the stock TB is a decent piece a little small, but you won't feel any gains from it. now if your boosted or juiced i would use a big single blade would be best.

Gloss black Saleens. I love em! Thinking about getting rid of my accufab and putting the stock one back on. Buy gears, thats my next thing.

AmericanMuscle.com I work at Discount Tire so I got the homie hookup on the tires lol. Wheels looked great when they arrived, dont buy lugnuts from them. They sell 21mm lugs(without a notification) when 19mm is the correct size... Overall very happy and the only other wheel I would go with is the Magnum 500 style in 18 in. Wanna buy my Accufab?

Keep your stock throttlebody. If anything just port it.

Haha, well you said yourself you didnt notice any power gains or anything. just whistling. Why would I wanna buy that if it doesnt even really help out in gains. my goal is to go all motor, get full exhaust, underdrive pulleys, intake, intake spacer, a TB that gives me a gain, whether its bigger or the stock one is just ported, and then get gears and a tune. hoping for as much power as a stock cobra going that route, maybe a little less.
