no the mating faces, like where the gasket would go between 2 metal parts...

mine was machined smoooth, much like your's may be. take some sand paper to it so it is not so shiny. but dont get carried away as to not make the surface flat lol

i made a thread about it and gave credit where it was due, but NO ONE posted in it. thought it was strange since so many people have said they have this problem.

no problem man, i wont take the credit for an idea if i dont come up with it lol

figured i would share with everyone since it seems like a somewhat common problem. ASSUMING you installed it right lol
