Default fastest pass, again....suggestions?

5th trip to the track in a row I've beat my best time, but it's gettin down to the nitty gritty. With some subtle mods, practice launching and learning shiftpoints my best pass each trip have gone like this...13.11, 12.91, 12.60, 12.39, 12.38, 12.37. Any budget-minded mods y'all can think of that yields real-world results? Current mods in sig. Thx in advance.

Full length sub-frame connecters. Install your LT headers... lol. Short throw shifter.

Fine w/ stock sub-frames, straight-line performance is fine. Waiting for a deal on an install for LTs, or someone willing to let me use their lift, don't think their's much difference between LT/ catted X and o/r X. I have a triax shifter.

you could do some weight reduction ie. back seat, spare tire, jack pass seat. etc. or you can always spray your way faster. also i was wondering do you have upgraded axels?

Pass. seat/spare tire are taken out, guess I'll get a rear seat delete as I hate messing with the rear seat everytime I go to the track. No spray here, I want very low 12s/high 11s with bolt-ons. I get asked about the axles alot. They're stock, which are fine w/o clutch dumping.

Control arms should drop your ET some. Keeping the weight transfered to the rear is a big help too. Everytime that nose drops, it loses momentum and puts drag on the car trying to pick it back up. Getting some weight off the front is very helpful with this. Using an aftermarket lighter weight radiator mount, K-Member, front control arms, etc, is a good start. The Battery relocation helps too. I know your not a big fan of the aluminum DS, but its weight some off the drivetrain. I know these things aren't the most budget minded mods, but it gives you some mods to put on your wishlist that are proven without having to spend big money. Out of all the things I listed, I'd do the LCAs first. They work.

*If you do end up doing LCAs, keep a check on your torque boxes. The factory ones will eventually come apart with hard launches and require weld in boxes, very easy fix*

Those are some damn impressive runs for the mods you have! That 1.69 sixty foot is like your best buddy at the moment. What track are you running at, MIR?

Thx. Yup, @ MIR, great track. Pulled a few 1.69s, in the low 1.7s usually...wish I'd done 4.30s to help that, oh well.

the spacer would be the only one up my alley. I'll get one of those as soon as the the budget allows and give feedback on track #s.
