First of all, roll racing is not racing. It's just two **** playing around in their cars.

Second, bolt on a whipple and smoke his *** (at the track). If you're gunna go, go hard.

 

Get you some 4.10s and cams we wont have a chance.

 

Dude don't be fooled the Mach 1 is a bad car. I raced moded GTs and Machs, be ready when you race the Mach. I get 1/2 a car length or better at the track on GTs with just cai/tune. I raced a GT from 40mi/hr he was in 2nd I was in 3rd. It was even until I got in my power range then I pulled on him. The Mach 1 is normally a close race.

 

If he gets you in a race that will be motivation too get some go fast goodies so you can whip him them its a win win.

 

thanks guys...i know i dont know his mods so sorry about that, i just was referring to mach 1's in general cause no experience with them. I was just concerned because i didnt know if it was gonna be like a night and day difference between my car and his, but it sounds like it would be alot closer than i thought.

 

It definately will not be night and day unless he is really modded.

 

MM & FF Magazine took a factory stock 2004 Mach 1 5spd to a 13.13 @ 105 with a 5 speed. rygi23 has an 04 SY Mach 5spd with an intake, midpipe, catback, tuner, 4.10's, DRs and is running consistant 12.30's. Now, when I have a loaded car, mine slows down considerably. I wouldnt race anything more than a Honda with a full load lol. Get a shift kit and 4.10's and you should be fine but race him when he is by himself so its fair lol.

Let’s look at the odds of him being some kind of speed shifter, not good. If he is trying to race you with a car full of people he will more than likely loose. Go from a role bang 1st and come up to 2nd , he will not be able to shift as fast as an auto. His car is not that much faster than yours, you will make up the time with the weight difference alone, not counting his miss shift.
