I went from Boston to Albany...a decent 3 hour drive in my 04 GT and got 26mpg with cruise control 70 most of the way...needless to say I was happy.

Yep, stangs actually get pretty good mileage. Keep it at 65-70 and 26mpg sounds good to me with bolt-ons stock gears.

Lol, I shift usually around 2200 to 2500 but every now and again will hit like 3500, usually getting on the freeway... I drive about 80freeway/20city and get around 180 every time and I do not cinsidder my driving style agreessive at all. I also changed(about 2 months or so ago) the plugs(OEM), fuel filter, engine oil, tranny fluid, and installed a JLT fendermount(P.O.S.), then loaded a BAMA tune only to get 110 miles to the tank like I was already getting, and my car randomly died once so I returned to stock and hope to have it dynod soon.

EDIT: I drove from Puyallup, WA to Crator Lake, Oregon(about 450 miles) and was getting about 240 miles to the tank with weld in flows and drop in K&N witht he stock wheels and 275's on the rear...

Last year I drove my car to Birmingham, AL and back, about 1700 miles round trip. Car had all the mods it currently has, and averaged about 27mpg on the highway. Now driving locally around town, not so good, but that just because I can't keep my right foot under control! LOL!

Ok so the mach is out of the shop if you didn't read my post. CAI, x-pipe, flowmasters, intake spacer and a custom tune and I put out 360/380 crank which is around 300rwhp on a dyno jet. But, I'm getting a nasty clunking from something loose after all the head work, it's heading back to the shop monday
