Dont do U/D pulleys or TB they can make your car run terrible. You should go with an X-pipe, a custom tune, gears, and good tires.

I'll let you know tomorrow. My brothers 04' mach 1 just went to the shop for some other issues so I had them throw on the spacer and they are putting it on the dyno and tuning it with diablo tuners. I know what the car was like before so I'll let ya know what a tune/spacer does.

I have heard good things about RoyC but I PM'ed him to request one for my car and he never answered back... That was easily 6 months ago, dont know what happened. Dont waste your money on any intake products, the K&N drop in filter is 100 times better than any CAI. Buy an x pipe, gears and a tune like kenny said but have it profeshionaly tuned, dont trust the "canned" BAMA/SCT/AmericanMuscle tunes, I was getting 110 miles to the tank with their tune, then I returned the car to stock and am getting about180 miles to the tank... Congratulations, you have a very very very good first Mustang lol.

yes...but wasn't it a "performance tune" which I would assume your mpg would go down. I wouldn't trust canned tunes for the reason that they are not specific to your car. Save your money and get a dyno tune.

Ya but we used a canned tune on the mach and it made it run like crap and killed MPG's also... It made the idle suck and the car would die randomly. Finally, the KIPKII CAI is great for the car. It lines up with the ram air intake great but has a larger elbow from the K&N filter to the TB. Man I want the mach back from the shop today! I put up a post about guessing the mach's rwhp when it's back from the dyno today but no one has posted, I want 315rwhp!

You only get 180 to the tank??? Is that normal for Mach's?

i wouldn't think so. im getting around 200-220, but sometimes i like to get into boost. could probably do better otherwise. at least i like to think i could. lol

i would have to guess he has a somewhat aggressive driving style or maybe needs a small tune up.

Guys the mach should get mpg's just as well as a GT. My GT gets about 240/tank and the mach 1 was getting the same. Thats about 50/50 hwy and city.
