Cant find an exact answer.
Hey sorry i know this has been asked before but i cant find an exact answer. But what is the preferred tranny fluid brand and type? ATF or synchromax for manuals or dexron lll? What is the updated quanity? 3 qrts, 3.25 qrts, 3.7 or 3.8 qrts? Sorry for asking an exhausted question but the search engine isnt being much help. Also im a fan of Royal Purple so specific info pertaining to RP would be greatly appreciated.
Have you changed the fluid before using 3.2? And if so was it running and shifting pretty good?
How's it been running since you changed the fluid? And did they tell you to use the Dexron III ATF?
By the way, i appreciate the help.

Smoother than a baby's butt. My tranny is like good wine, its gets better with age. The guys at the shop I go to love it when I go so they can drive it. BTW, 78k miles/stock clutch/424whp.
Do you have your owners manual? I used exactly what it recommends, 4 quarts exactly and its been fine, I changed it at 50k miles along with plugs and fuel filter and all that stuff. I would have done the rear end fluid but I am doing 4.10s after I get tuned here pretty soon so that would be pointless.

I bought my mach from my younger brother and im in the process of fixing some problems here and there.
Yes but over the years I have heard several different recommended. I believe im gonna try 3.2 qrts of Dexron lll and see how i like it. Im also gonna be installing a MM clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster so im expecting a noticeable difference.
