The mach is not quite as fast as my impala in a str8 line, but it is far better in every other aspect of performance. one thing I dont get is the mach is turning low 13 sec 1/4 miles with just over 300hp, while the new 400+hp 5.0 mustang is only a few tenth's faster and the mach seems to be just as fast as the camaro ss with 400+hp. We have a new 5.0 mustang at my jobs drags racing program and with intake/ exhaust it is running 12.7-12.8 on street tires. Yet I read on mm&ff they took a stock mach and ran a 13.1!!Crazy!
