Default 11's with bolt-on's?????????

I was just wondering if it is possible to get into the 11's with bolt on's. Its so expensive to go f/i which is why I was wondering because 11's is my goal in my street car.

I imagine it's possible with a lot of weight reduction.

That and driving the snot out of it. I would invest in a short throw shifter if you don't have one already.

For a decent track car I think you'd want
a whole suspension setup UCA/LCA/FLSFC
drag radials
maybe skinnies up front
weight reduction
maybe move the battery to the trunk

maybe even throw a small shot of the giggle juice top of all that.

My next mods were going to be springs, aluminum DS, and short throw shifter. I really dont want to do NOS, the stuff scares me.

you should be able to hit high 11's n/a. Its gonna take suspension work to do it though. build the rear end, get good uca's and lca's, adjustable shocks, welded torque boxes and axle tubes. after that you will be able to launch the car hard. then get some good exhaust, longtubes, 4.10's or more if staying n/a 4.56's may be the best for ya but will make interstate driving less that comfortable. get a tune! may need some weight reduction.

My car @ 3600+lbs on street tires runs 12.80's @ 111mph with a 2.1 60'...if I could get some slicks and lay down a 1.6-1.7 60' Im very confident my car would be close to high 11's. But I dont have that built rear so I would just snap an axle! Im going to try for 11's as well after I get money for the rear to be built up. if it wont go into the 11's its getting a 100 shot!

full bolt-ons, good tires, good air, good track, good driver...that's high 11s. No suspension work needed with proper clutch work.

that's what I was getting at......N/A 11's is very possible with our cars. Just need the right conditions, and right driver.
