Stock run was 272hp and 295 torque.

So its almost like i dont know if the small gain is the tune, or the missing cats.

If the A/F was spot on i bet there would be another 10 in there easy.

Hey Brian too bad we left when we did, I just saw a picture on the smokinstangs website of a nice looking ford GT. I don't know if they put that on the dyno or not.

Brian, was the tune made for no cats? I'm wondering if that is a parameter that can be factored in if you have an o/r midpipe or not. So if it wasn't taken into account then maybe yo could have more gains left?

Aww horses ***!

Also Dean, having no cats has no effect on the tune itself. When i called AM they said if i said i had no cats they would shut the rear 02's off, which i need them on for emissions. When i talked to pete, he said because there was no cats he expected it to make the A/F richer. I wish i could datalog A/F ratio with the tuner but its impossible without a wideband.

Seems like its worth it. I'll probably be getting a tune from Pete come spring time

Sadly right now my car is a brick. I threw the new intake on, then when i went to load the new tune onto it, it **** the bed. So now i need to send it to SCT, which takes 10 days and $65...

O well

What is this intake you speak of? New manifold or CAI type thing? Did you try to put the stock tune on and run it? Maybe it's the tune that is the culprit in which case I don't see why you have to pay $65

Brian try to get AM to pay for it. What did the car do after you put the intake on?

It's just a CAI i got off of another forum.

Its not the tune, its the TUNER. When i plug it in to my computer, or car, it says "blocks corrupted" or some crap. So I have to pay SCT $65 to reformat it because its out of warranty. This has nothing to do with AM or the intake, its just my handheld.

I put the intake on, then when i went to load the tunes to the SCT it **** the bed.
