Yeah that'd be cool Shad. I'd be looking at full restoration. 95% is just faded, the other 5% down to bare metal (scratches on hood, under driver/passenger windows). There's a super small surface rust spot on the driver side rear. Not even the size of a dime. If you/he need pics let me know.
Also, I'd be switching from a regular front bumper to Cobra. I've already got it as well as the fogs, so it'd have to be painted as well. If he wants to keep/sell the regular one that's cool.
When I did the hot rods with a buddy the car did get much louder at idle. What is the idle rpm set at?
I still need a tune, I just let it idle so I could see if I ****ed up and needed to pull it apart but it was idling right around 1000, but it was also still cold.
Ok it sounds good and is loud, has a little lope to it but not like the hot rods, and pulls hard above 3k, below 3k it feels the same, which I expected. Overall I am very satisfied, especially since the install was way easier than I thought it would be.
